Meet The Speartek Team

Speartek has been led by founder and President Derek Griffin since we built the first website in 2000. With a background in public accounting and corporate finance, Derek acts as a business solutions consultant to our clients, understanding their unique business challenges and how a website can improve profitability through revenue growth and operational cost savings. Most projects are defined and managed by Derek and if you ever see Speartek at a tradeshow, Derek will be at our booth.

When not working – Its hard to narrow down to a single activity, so we’ll go with mountain biking, hiking national parks, and concerts / live music.

Recent memorable experience – Foo Fighters in concert with my daughter, 4th row center stage, Fathers Day weekend. Honorable mention would be annual hiking trips to national parks – I am up to 35!

Furry Friend – Theo the Australian Shepherd is an occasional office visitor and mascot.

Gene has been providing technical support for all Speartek clients since June of 2010. A belief in a rapid response to issues and inquiries and attention to detail is the key to success. He figures, what keeps our clients going, keeps us going.

When not working, Gene likes to balance his free time on his PS4, the gym, hanging with friends at different watering holes, the Marietta Square and just piddling here and there. Piddling, it's a southern thing. He's also a huge Alabama fan. ROLL TIDE

Furry Friend - This would be the first time in over 20 years that Gene has been without a furry friend, but he does see a new one in the near future.

I'm a passionate web developer who enjoys creating websites and online stores that are both functional and user-friendly. Whether it's a simple website or a complex shop, I focus on ensuring everything runs smoothly for the best browsing experience. Outside of coding, I love spending time with my family and discovering new culinary adventures together.

In my personal life, family and faith are incredibly important to me. I treasure moments spent with loved ones, whether we’re trying new foods, exploring new places, or just enjoying each other's company. My relationship with God is a guiding force in my life, helping me grow spiritually and appreciate life's blessings.
